The Compass Pools NZ story started in 2003 when Jan Cazemier and Stuart Laing began their hunt for a high-quality to fibreglass pool to add to their product offering in their busy Queenstown pool and spa store. As concrete pool builders they were all too familiar with the downfalls of concrete pools and could see that fibreglass Pools had plenty of advantages from fast installation to easier care and maintenance.
Because residential pools are very popular in Australia, they turned their attention toward Australian based manufacturers. When they learned about our unique Ceramic composite technology and the Vantage self-cleaning system they knew that they had found a product they could feel confident to offer to their customer base. Before long the demand for Compass Pools had grown and Jan and Stu made the decision to expand their business by moving to Christchurch.
