The Compass Vantage Self Cleaning Pool

Compass designers constantly search the world for innovative technologies that will enhance the experience of living with a Compass fibreglass ceramic composite pool.
When they discovered the Paramount (US) in-floor system, they immediately set to work with the developers of the technology to produce the world’s first Vantage system in a composite pool.
A series of unobtrusive nozzles are flush-mounted into the surface of the pool shell at the factory. They are strategically located so when directed they pop up in a carefully orchestrated sequence sending a powerful stream of water across the pool floor and walls. These streams all combine to push dirt, sand, leaves or debris into the patented collection zone.
So, the pool cleans itself…
It’s all about water in the brain
The nozzle sequence is directed by an amazing water valve system commonly referred to as the Vantage ‘Brain”. This patented system links its activities to the pool’s filtration cycle.
And, if necessary, there’s a manual override system to stop the sequence at any time. So, if you want the system off while you swim, just hit the pause button.
Just a few little nozzles achieve all this. Some of the brilliantly designed in-built nozzles are fixed and some rotate. Once each nozzle has completed its task, it settles back and sits flush with the surface of the pool.
Then, when it’s asked to rise again, each rotating nozzle turns twenty degrees clockwise as it rises, sending its stream in a slightly different direction.
In 20 degree increments, each nozzle will complete a 360 degree rotation to ensure all the pool water in its vicinity is completely cleaned, stirred and refreshed.
These little nozzles are silent and safe.
Every nozzle completes its task in silence. You can sleep beside your pool and you’ll never know they are operating. And each is perfectly safe. If anyone should accidentally stand of one while it’s elevated, it is designed to slide back quickly into its well without resistance. And they are so tough they carry a limited, lifetime guarantee.
Vantage Debris Canister
For outdoor pools the Vantage Debris canister is recommended. It sits under a lid beside the pool with a basket that holds five times as much as a conventional skimmer basket.

An additional Vantage pack is designed to extend this self-cleaning service to steps, benches, swimouts and even spas.

In a still pool, heat layers quickly form. So a pool that’s warm enough on top can still be too cold below the surface. Circulation eliminates hot and cold layers, mixing the warm water through the colder layers. This means the pool warms more quickly and consumes less energy.
It also means your swimming season starts earlier and ends later, giving you greater benefit from your pool.
Hot surface layers increase evaporation and that makes Vantage a must for all indoor pools where condensation needs to be controlled.
