When you invest in a Compass Pool, we believe that investment should be protected for as long as you own it, and beyond. That's why we developed the Triple Warranty: three interconnected layers of warranty coverage, each backed by a specific technology exclusive to Compass.
Most pool warranties cover just structural defects. Ours goes further, covering the cosmetic surface against UV and chemical damage, and protecting your pool against hydrostatic events that are specifically excluded from home insurance and other manufacturers' warranties.

10-Year Cosmetic Warranty on Bi-Luminite Pools
The appearance of a pool can deteriorate over time through constant exposure to UV rays and the chemicals used to keep pool water healthy. Compass protects your pool from cosmetic damage with ArmourShield, an additional layer of vinyl ester resin applied over the Bi-Luminite colour system.
This extra protection layer means your pool's colour will maintain its stunning, luminous finish for longer. On Bi-Luminite series pools it's backed by a full 10-year cosmetic warranty, including coverage against cosmetic osmosis damage. Vivid series pools carry a 7-year cosmetic warranty.

Lifetime Structural Warranty on Bi-Luminite
Every Compass Pool is built with a proprietary ceramic composite core, a blend of vinyl ester resin and aerospace-grade ceramic microspheres that creates a structural layer unlike anything else in the fibreglass pool industry.
This core gives Compass pools improved chemical resistance, increased panel stiffness and superior ability to handle seasonal ground movement, making it virtually immune to structural osmosis and far more durable in Australian conditions. Bi-Luminite series pools carry a lifetime structural warranty. Vivid series pools carry a 25-year structural warranty.
3. HydroPro™ Valve, Hydrostatic Protection
World-First Lifetime Hydrostatic Warranty
Hydrostatic damage occurs when rising groundwater pressure exceeds the water level in your pool. This causes the pool to want to lift or float, leading to cracks, bulges or structural movement as the pressure releases. It's a real risk in Australian conditions, and it's nearly always excluded from home insurance policies.
Compass developed the HydroPro™ valve, a patented valve that releases rising groundwater pressure at five times the rate of the standard industry valve. It's so effective that we're able to offer a world-first lifetime warranty against hydrostatic damage on Bi-Luminite series pools. Vivid series pools also include hydrostatic protection, on their own terms.

What does the lifetime structural warranty cover?
The lifetime structural warranty covers structural defects in the pool shell, including protection against structural osmosis damage. It applies to all Bi-Luminite series Compass pools and is backed by the Ceramic Core technology. Vivid series pools carry a 25-year structural warranty. Both are transferable to subsequent owners for the balance of 25 years from the original installation date.
What does the 10-year cosmetic warranty cover?
The 10-year cosmetic warranty covers the interior surface of Bi-Luminite series pools against cosmetic damage caused by manufacturing or material defects, including osmotic blistering. It's backed by the ArmourShield technology, which adds an extra vinyl ester resin layer over the Bi-Luminite surface for additional protection. Vivid series pools carry a 7-year cosmetic warranty.
What is the hydrostatic warranty and why is it a world first?
Hydrostatic damage, caused by rising groundwater pressure, is nearly always excluded from home insurance policies and other pool manufacturers' warranties. Compass developed the HydroPro™ valve, a patented relief valve that releases pressure 5× faster than standard valves. It's so effective that we can offer a lifetime warranty against this type of damage on Bi-Luminite series pools. Vivid series pools also include hydrostatic protection, on their own terms. As far as we know, no other fibreglass pool manufacturer in the world offers this level of coverage.
Is the warranty transferable when I sell my home?
Yes. All three components of the Triple Warranty are transferable to subsequent owners for the balance of 25 years from the original installation date, for both Bi-Luminite and Vivid series pools. This means your Compass Pool continues to add genuine value to your property, and gives future buyers peace of mind that the pool is still covered.
Do Vivid series pools get the same warranty as Bi-Luminite?
No. The two ranges have different warranty terms. Bi-Luminite series pools come with a lifetime structural warranty, a 10-year cosmetic warranty and a lifetime hydrostatic warranty. Vivid series pools come with a 25-year structural warranty, a 7-year cosmetic warranty and hydrostatic protection. All are transferable to new owners for up to 25 years. Can I see the full warranty document before buying?
Yes. Your local Compass authorised dealer can provide the full manufacturer's warranty document at any time, including before you commit to purchasing. We encourage all buyers to read it in full so you understand exactly what is covered for the range you choose. There are no hidden catches. The coverage is what we say it is.
What is the major difference between Compass and competitor warranties?
If warranties are important to you, we strongly recommend that you read the terms and conditions on offer before committing to a product. Many manufacturers put particularly onerous responsibilities on the pool owner (for example, maintaining water at a certain temperature or keeping fortnightly chemical logs). Compass warranties are real world warranties that don't set you up for failure as pool owner.
