Large Pools

Everyone loves a large pool. Loads of space to play and swimming. If you are fortunate enough to own a large property or have a big backyard then maybe a large pool might fit the bill. Almost all shapes come in larger sizes so there is no shortage of choice. Our X-Trainer and Vogues continue to outsell all others, their contemporary rectangular shapes provide very efficient use of space with Vogues sacrificing some but providing a bench zone for kids or relaxation. Contemporaries ‘V’ bottom floor and symmetrical design are a great fit for family entertainment with loads of entry/exit points and seating options. Looking for a traditional shape, why not consider the Riviera with its more curvaceous lines.

Owning a Large Pool

A large swimming pool is the number one choice for everyone who has sufficient space in their back yard. Whether you swim competitively, enjoy the health benefits of swimming or just want to have fun in the water with your family and friends, a large pool offers the flexibility for you to use it however you choose.

Large swimming pools enable you to create a luxurious oasis in your back yard, providing you with a stunning custom design feature that will add significant value to your home.

Benefits of Large Pools

The benefits of large swimming pools are too numerous to list. Serious and competitive swimmers have the unimpeded expanse of water they need to train hard and improve their times, setting themselves up for the best chance of success. Those who swim for health and fitness can gain the maximum benefits from a large pool, as it gives you the freedom to swim large distances, getting your heart pumping and working your muscles. And when it’s time to relax, a large pool offers you the space you need to float or sit and simply enjoy the water, which is a great way to de-stress and unwind.

A large pool also gives you the ultimate in fun when it’s time for family games! You can all enjoy the pool to the max, while still having enough space for anyone who needs to rest and take time out.

A Large Pool from Compass Pools

Compass Pools gives you greater control over your large pool than ever before. Our two most popular styles, the Contemporary and the Riviera, are designed to complement a wide variety of architecture and surroundings, and are available in several different lengths, widths and depths to suit your requirements. You can also customise the appearance of your pool with our beautiful Bi-luminate and Vivid colour ranges.

Even better, maintaining a large swimming pool has never been easier, thanks to our innovative Vantage self-cleaning system, which removes all debris, including leaves, and maintains a constant chemical balance in the water, saving you the unpleasant job of cleaning the pool with harsh chemicals and making your pool a safe and clean environment for you and your family to enjoy.

For further information on any of our large pool options, please get in touch – Compass Pools authorised dealers are happy to help you at any time.

Long Narrow Site

Why not consider the fast lane. Whilst not as well suited for families wanting a wider pool for play, they excel in what they were designed for, swimming.

Other Considerations

Some states and territories have additional requirements for larger pools (such as BASIX) so before you commit, discuss these details with your pool builder as they can require additional work which adds time and costs to your project.

Answers to questions anybody thinking of buying a pool should ask themselves before choosing which pool to buy

THE BI-LUMINITE CERAMIC COLOUR DIFFERENCE

No Need to Clean Your Swimming Pool

Let the Compass Vantage pool clean itself. The Vantage in-floor cleaning and circulation system is an inconspicuous network of cleaning nozzles built into the pool floor and steps (optional). These nozzles take turns to pop up and push water across the pool floor, forcing the dirt, sand and leaves towards the fixed head and MDX main drain for automated removal.

Our Pools Are Built Stronger to Last Longer

All Compass Pools come with a Ceramic Core. When looking at a cross-section of a Compass composite swimming pool, the ceramic core can be clearly seen. It’s this core that sets Compass apart. It’s this core that gives increased panel stiffness and improved impact resistance. It’s this core that ensures you are buying the toughest, most durable and most innovative composite pool in the world.

Sloping Site Or Difficult Sites Are Not a Problem

We can build a swimming pool almost anywhere from hillsides, cliffs and even apartment rooftops! Thanks to our award-winning Maxi-rib technology, Compass can offer an affordable and reliable option to anyone looking to install a swimming pool on a difficult or sloping site. The Maxi-rib system is a set of engineered rib-like structures which support the pool walls when installed above ground.
