Built by Compass Pools Melbourne, this impressive 11.8 m X-Trainer Pool was designed for a client with a clear priority: maximise space for lap swimming while keeping the design simple, clean, and visually striking. Set on newly filled ground, the project required detailed engineering to establish a stable base, with soil remediation and structural build-up carefully planned to support the pool’s length and position.
Finished in Bi-Luminite Sapphire, the pool creates a bold contrast against the home’s muted architectural palette and surrounding stone retaining walls. The colour choice was deliberate, delivering brightness, clarity, and strong visual impact while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. The X-Trainer Pool’s wide, unobstructed layout allows multiple swimmers to exercise comfortably, staying true to the model’s original purpose of shared lap swimming.

Equipped with Vantage in-floor self-cleaning and circulation, Astral heating and salt chlorination, Sunline hidden blanket system, and Spa Electrics LED lighting, the pool offers effortless maintenance and year-round usability. What began as a straightforward rectangle evolved into a standout rural Victoria project that blends performance, precision engineering, and refined simplicity into one highly functional X-Trainer Pool.
