X-Trainer Pool Project Details
This beautifully executed X-Trainer Pool project brings together a 10.2 m x 4.2 m X-Trainer Pool, a 2.8 m x 1.8 m X-Trainer spa, and a full-length 6.2 m bench seat, creating a versatile outdoor space designed for all seasons. Finished in Bi-Luminite Atlantic, the pool delivers vibrant colour and depth while framing the surrounding natural outlook.
Inspired by a pool-and-spa combination the clients discovered online, the brief was clear from the outset. The challenge lay in execution. The project required three separate fibreglass components to be seamlessly connected into one unified body of water. Using Maxi Rib technology and water-link integration, the pool and spa were engineered as a freestanding structure, allowing independent decking without the need for retaining walls.
The X-Trainer Pool & Spa combination has settled into its forever home in Auckland, nestled by the river, offering stunning waterfront views.
Equipped with Vantage in-floor self-cleaning and circulation, solar and Astral gas heating, Astral salt chlorination, and Spa Electrics LED lighting, this X-Trainer Pool offers low-maintenance ownership and flexible use. The spa can be isolated for targeted heating, making the entire zone an extension of the home year-round — a space designed as much for winter evenings as summer swims.
